Squidoo Secrets: How to Build a List on Squidoo

Ask any successful internet or affiliate marketer what the key to success is, and they’ll no doubt encourage you to build a list. One of the core reasons behind this is that people often need to be confronted with a product link more than once before they make a purchase.

A list allows you to send them messages – around one a week is a good number – that will include a link. As with anything else that is related to internet marketing, the newsletter needs to contain an article or tips – something to provide the reader with value. This will help increase conversion rates.

So, how do you build a list on Squidoo? There are a few ways. Since iframes were disabled, people have had to get creative.

Take a screenshot. The first option is to take a screenshot of a signup box that you may have on another site. Use an image editing program to get rid of anything else that may have been captured. Save the image as a .jpeg and use the following code to put the image in a text module:

<p align=”center”><a href=”http://www.yourdomainname.com“><img
src=”http://www.imagelocation.jpg></a></p>

The goal is to set up the image so that a user clicks on it and is directed to a signup landing page or the page on your blog or website where the box is. If you have multiple niches on Squidoo, you’ll want to have a separate list for each niche.
