Once you focus on smaller, sub-niche market, it is time to analyze the profitability of the niche. There are two things to keep in mind when determining the market value of a potential niche, the size of the buyer’s market and the existing competition.

It’s always important to verify that there is enough demand for products or services in any given niche but we don’t want to spend a lot of time and money trying to penetrate an over-populated market where the competition is so incredibly stiff that we’d constantly struggle to secure even a tiny share of the market.
